Its the best French English dictionary available because it is simple. Its rare I cant find a word or phrase in this app.

I love the simplicity of this app and I use it often. But its missing one feature that a French-English dictionary really must have: the nouns gender. The user HAS to know, after looking up the French translation of a noun, whether its a feminine noun, and therefore takes the article "la," or a masculine one requiring the article "le." And theres no rhyme or reason to noun gender: "le sein" ("the breast," masculine noun); "la barbe" ("the beard," feminine noun). All it takes is an "f" or an "m" following the "n" that means "noun" -- just one extra character per noun definition.

There are only a few issues that I have seen so far, 1, is there is no gender assignment, so you dont know if its "m", "f", or "n" (it would be nice to know and very useful ! And secondly there seems to be a glitch with the apostrophe button. (apparently seems to freeze and shut down the app) Apart from that... Amazing ! Keep on adding !!

Please chang the app icon and improve the ui design. Please add your contact info inside the app so that people can send you feedback or report any bugs. Please add support for iphone 5 and ios 6.

This dictionary needs to indicate the gender of the nouns.

Its a decend dictionary (taking into account the fact that its free:)). I just wish there were indications of gender in French nouns - one has got to know whether "maison" is masculine or feminine.

I really like the app because it contains tons of translations even phrases a word is used such as flight of steps or stone wall... I think thats the best part as its not always easy to translate those sorts of words.

I have been reading LE Monde and Match on my iPad. Although the app is formatted for iPhone, it is still a quick way to look up words I dont know.

I am currently in a college level French class and this is a bit faster to use then an over 1,000 page dictionary. It helps me when I just cannot remember the right word. Cest un fantastique dictionnaire pour le pauvre étudient.
